Advanced Course - Diagnostics and Prevention for Fish Parasite Control in Aquaculture
21st – 25th October 2019, ZARAGOZA (SPAIN)

ParaFishControl, in collaboration with CIHEAM, IAMZ, MedAID and the EU H2020 PaerformFish and the University of Zaragoza, are organising a training course Diagnostics and Prevention for Fish Parasite Control in Aquaculture. The course is open for professionals within the aquaculture industry and public institutions involved in aquatic animal health management and inspection.

20th (Zebra)Fish Immunology/Vaccination Workshop 
28th April – 2nd May 2019, WAGENINGEN (The Netherlands) 

The 20th (Zebra)Fish Immunology/Vaccination Workshop objective was to provide participants with advanced knowledge, both theoretical and practical, on the immune system of fish. During the workshop the latest insights in the evolution of the immune system and, in particular, immune modulation, host defence against pathogens and vaccination were discussed. Several partners from ParaFishControl participated in this event to present the latest results obtained within the project.

Control of Parasitic Diseases in Aquacultured Fish - Innate and Acquired Resistance 
30th April 2019, COPENHAGEN (Denmark) 

ParaFishControl in collaboration with TechFish and DAFINET, organised a short training course and workshop "Control of Parasitic Diseases in Aquacultured Fish – Innate and Acquired Resistance". This event brought togther about 70 participants from the aquaculture industry, experts, scientists and postgraduate students to discuss various issues and trends critical to aquaculture and genetics.

Workshop on Sustainable Fish Health Control 
23rd October 2018, COPENHAGEN (Denmark) 

ParaFishControl in collaboration with BANGFISH and the University of Copenhagen organised a workshop on the theme of fish diseases and sustainable fish control. About 40 international proefessionals, partners and experts from various countries (Norway, Bangladesh, India, China, Indonesia, Italy, Denmarks) participated in the workshop.

Diagnosis of Parasitic Diseases of European Seabass and Gilthead Seabream Training Course
13th - 14th September 2018, UDINE (Italy) 

ParaFishControl together with the University of Udine and the University of Bologna co-organised a two-day training course with a focus on the latest diagnosis strategies of parasitic diseases of European seabass and gilthead sea bream. The course was specifically designed for international professionals working as aquaculture technicians, farmers and veterinarians working with parasitic diseases in the most important Mediterranean cultured fish species.

Workshop Securing Fish Health in wild and Cultured Fish: From Pangas and Tilapias Via Carps and Percids to Salmonids 
25th October 2017, COPENHAGEN (Denmark) 

DAFINET (Danish Fish Immunology Research Center & Network) jointly with the University of Copenhagen hosted a one-day workshop "Securing fish health in wild and cultured fish: from pangas and tilapias via carps to salmonids". The workshop covered various topics from microbilogy of fish diseases to immunization and vaccination.

Upgrading Fish Health and Value Chains Workshop  
8th - 9th Novemeber 2016, COPENHAGEN (Denmark) 

ParaFishcontrol in a collaboration between DAFINET (Danish Fish Immunology Research Center & Network), FP7 project Targetfish and the University of Copenhagen organized a workshop "Upgrading Fish Health and Value Chanins" to review the various challenges related to fish health and biosecurity in the aquaculture context.
